As of 12:39 local time in Thailand, Nikkei fell 2.87%, SSEC slipped 0.77%, Hang Seng Index plunged 2.51%, ASX 200 decreased 1.73% and IDX Composite edged 1.44% lower.
Meanwhile, Dow Jones Futures dropped 1.38%, S&P 500 fell 1.17% and Nasdaq slipped 0.75%.
