PSG Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: PSG) announced that the company has been selected as the successful tenderer for the construction of XPPL Expansion Phase 1 Project of Xekong Power Plant Company Limited located in Xekong Province, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, with the project value of USD263,955,452.33 (inclusive of VAT) or equivalent to approximately THB8,895,298,743.52 as of today’s exchange rate.
The company shall be the turnkey contractor for construction works related to the expansion for the project owner to increase its coal production base from approximately 2.94 million tons per year to 15 million tons per year and will have a construction period of approximately 32 months. The company shall negotiate and enter into a contract with Xekong Power Plant Company Limited in due course.
As of Wednesday, the share price of PSG rose THB0.11/share or 9.57% to THB1.26/share, with a market value of THB269 million, or having gained more than 84% since the first trading day of 2022.
