The Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) confirms those who have already registered the Thailand Pass for entering the country, can still travel to Thailand after 15 January, 2022 until further notice.
Dr Apisamai Srirangsan, the CCSA’s assistant spokesperson, has addressed on Friday that people who have already received the Thailand Pass QR Code for the Test and Go quarantine-free program can still travel and enter Thailand as scheduled, but are required to have a negative RT-PCR test result tested prior to boarding a flight. And upon their arrival in Thailand, all travelers will be subjected to another RT-PCR test.
Thailand suspended its Test and Go program in mid-December last year in response to an increase in COVID-19 omicron variant cases.
On Friday, Thailand reported an additional 8,158 COVID19 infections and 15 deaths, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 85,180 since 1 January 2022.
