The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SET: SCC) announced that Cementhai Holding Company Limited (CHC), a subsidiary of SCC, has entered into a joint-venture agreement with Siam Kubota Corporation (SKC) and Kubota Corporation (KBT) to establish a new company “Kaset Inno Co., Ltd” with registered capital of THB70 million. CHC will hold a 51% stake while SKC and KBT will hold 25% and 24% stakes in the new Joint Venture respectively.
This joint-venture is in-line with SCG’s strategy to use innovations to assist the country’s economic growth and improve people’s well-being, this Joint Venture is established to conduct agricultural service and solution businesses in Thailand, utilizing agricultural-related technologies and innovations to enhance the capability, efficiency, and quality of the agricultural sector. Operations are expected to start in the first quarter of 2022.
