Asian stocks closed shedding loss on Friday following losses in the U.S. overnight amid selloff due to increasing bond yield.
The SET, KOSPI, TOPIX, CSI 300 and HSI closed inching down by 0.26%, 0.99%, 0.59% and 0.92% and 0.05% respectively. The MSIC broad market Asia index ex Japan however is up by 1.32%.
U.S. futures S&P500 and Nasdaq 100 is down by 0.03%, 0.31% and 0.32% respectively. However, Dow Jones is moderately up by 0.14%.
Crude oil prices slipped after hitting highs seen in 2014 after U.S. inventory showed surprise increase. The WTI inched down by 1.60% to $84.18 per barrel while the Brent is down by 1.50% to $87.04 per barrel.
