Oil prices edged higher in the morning session on Monday amid rising fuel demand in the U.S., tight supply and slightly depreciated dollars. Meanwhile, Shanghai is preparing to reopen after a two-month lockdown to curb the resurgence Covid-19 outbreak in the city that raised concerns for investors in the last few months.
The international benchmark Brent crude rose 82 cents to $113.37 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate rose 69 cents to $110.97 a barrel.
