Jasmine International Public Company Limited (SET: JAS) has announced that the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on September 23, 2022, resolved to approve the disposal of Triple T Broadband Public Company Limited (TTTBB) and investment units in Jasmine Broadband Internet Infrastructure Fund (SET: JASIF) to Advanced Wireless Network Co.,Ltd. (AWN), a subsidiary of Advanced Info Service Plc. (SET: ADVANC).
The voting results were unanimous as 97.2052% of voters agreed on the disposal of investment while 2.7938% were against it.
The final decision will fall to JASIF’s unitholders to approve or disapprove the deal on October 18, 2022.
Last week, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited (SET: BBL), as a lender in JASIF’s THB18,160 million Facilities Agreement, made an attractive offer to JASIF’s unitholders in which the bank will amend the repayment date and terms if JASIF agrees on several conditions, including entering the agreement with Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (SET: ADVANC) to take over the Fund.
