Celebrating its opening, InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit – formed out of partnership between One Origin Public Company Limited (ONEO), CI:Z Investment Limited Liability Partnership, and IHG Hotels & Resorts – is set to unveil Rogues on 1 February 2024. The high energy cocktail bar is set to become one of Bangkok’s hottest and completes the hotel’s F&B line up alongside AVA Brasserie and The Lobby. Further demonstrating its position as a foodie haven, InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit announces a number of exclusive offers and promotions across all F&B outlets.
Rogues by name, Rogues by nature
A secretive haven nestled on the 2nd storey of InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit, Rogues adheres to its namesake, attracting mischief and misfits alike. A non-assuming entrance welcomes guests the exclusive space, which evokes memories of the speakeasy era, with swanky jazz music playing through a vintage jukebox and wood and copper finishes and golden art deco accents.
Meticulously crafted cocktails, designed to challenge tastebuds and create conversation, include Salute To The World (Ketel One vodka with truffle, Tanqueray No. Ten, Lillet Blanc, Absinth, Giffard Grapefruit liquer), inspired by the extravagant parties of Jay Gatsby and evoking the glamour of the Jazz Age; and Samurai Angel (Maker Mark’s Bourbon, Creyente Joven Mezcal, Vermouth Rosso, matcha tea, chocolate bitter), a bold and smoky libation inspired by the iconic 2003 film, ‘Kill Bill.’ Locally-inspired cocktails include Krung Thep Dessert (Chalong Bay rum, Vermouth Extra Dry, pandan water, coconut water, jasmine syrup, mango foam), a unique twist on the much-loved Mango Sticky Rice; and Spicy Guava Fizz (Iron Ball Gin, Umeshu, guava juice, aloe vera juice, lime juice, spicy syrup, soda), a symphony of flavours, inspired by fresh guava with spicy plum dip.
A selection of bar bites, including Doughnut – Chiang Mai sausage, lemongrass and kefir leaf bechamel – Budin Blanc – homemade chicken sausage, creole spicy sauce – and Cajun Boule – chicken popcorn, smoked gouda remoulade sauce – complete the offering.
“The introduction of Rogues marks a captivating new chapter at InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit. In addition to appealing to international guests, we are excited to welcome Bangkokians to Thonglor’s newest gastronomic hub. We are delighted to call this lively neighbourhood our home, and proud to enrich the already dynamic F&B scene with our concepts,” said Prin Pathanatham, General Manager, InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit.
