EA reported a net profit of THB 541.74 million, a decrease by 75% from the same period of last year. The decrease was mainly due to the operating profit of the electric bus and commercial vehicle business decreased by THB 814 million due to fewer vehicles delivered. Also, it was a decrease in operating profit of lithium-ion battery business by THB 535 million, decreased by operating profit of solar power plant business in Nakhon Sawan province due to the expiration of government subsidy (adder) by THB 345 million, decreased by the impact of the government’s FT reduction by THB 215 million, decreased by share of profit from investments in associates and joint ventures, net by THB 193 million. However, looking at the operating profit of the biodiesel business and other businesses, it still increased by THB 92 million, including an increase in profit/loss sharing for non-controlling interests by THB 414 million.
