Maguro’s CEO announced that the company’s Q4 performance is expected to reach a record high, with plans to open more branches and increase income.
Mr. Ekkarit Saengsereedamrong, CEO and co-founder of MAGURO Group Public Company Limited (mai: Maguro), revealed that the company’s overall performance in 4Q24 will be the highest of 2024 due to the high season of the food business. This growth opportunity allows the company to open five more branches on top of its existing 33.
Maguro plans to complete this project before the end of 2024. These branches will operate under five brands, two of which will be new. The first new brand will be called Tonkatsu Aoki, a fried pork tonkatsu restaurant set to open at Central World in December. Meanwhile, the name of the second new brand will remain undisclosed for the time being; however, the company hints that it will feature an all-day dining format scheduled to open at The Flavorhood in December.
Since the beginning of 4Q24, Maguro has noticed an increase in consumer activity after the government accelerated economic stimulus measures and tourism initiatives. Furthermore, the festive season and upcoming holidays are expected to positively impact MA-GURO restaurants, potentially extending benefits into the first quarter of 2025.
Mr. Ekkarit believes the company can achieve sales growth of at least 30% from last year, which had total sales of approximately 1,040 million baht. Additionally, Mr. Jakkrit Saisomboon, Director of MAGURO, stated that the Q3 financial statements will be announced on November 11, 2024.
