Harris Narrows the Gap with Votes from California, Trump Leads in 6 Swing States

At 12:10 PM (Bangkok time), based on Bloomberg’s tally, the US presidential election results are as follows:

Trump: 230 votes

Harris: 210 votes

The electoral votes for Kamala Harris edged closer to Donald Trump’s after the ballots in California and Washington started counting. As of now, projections suggest that Trump is poised to secure wins in six swing states – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – with Nevada’s results pending.

According to the final New York Times survey prior to the election, Harris holds a slim lead of three points in Nevada, Wisconsin, and North Carolina, as well as a one-point advantage in Georgia. On the other hand, Trump leads by four points in Arizona and by one point in Michigan. Pennsylvania shows a dead heat between the two candidates. However, the results from all seven states fall within the margin of sampling error.
