OpenAI promises to fix the popular AI assistant ChatGPT and video generator Sora after they become inaccessible.
According to CNBC, ChatGPT has been down for two hours, but OpenAI made a statement on X announcing they have identified the issue and are working on fixing it. The AI assistance did go down previously in June, which lasted over five hours.
Users are still unable to access AI assistants or ChaiGPT as of 9:30 (GMT+7) on Thursday.
OpenAI is one of the most successful technology companies, having a value of $157 billion in a funding round in October. Its succession is due to ChatGPT, which the company launched in late 2022 and has been the major topic in the tech industry over the last couple of years.
Moreover, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman confirmed that the technology was reaching 300 million active users each week, and possibly more to come as Apple recently released software designed to integrate with ChatGPT.
The company also released Sora to the US and several countries last Tuesday, only to find soaring demand higher than expected. OpenAI promises to help everyone access the video generator, but it asks for a period of time.
