9 High-Yield Dividend Stocks to Pick before XD Date

Analyst from Krungsri Securities (KSS) stated that the study on SET High Dividend Index (SETHD) over the past 10 years shows that SETHD during January-February usually yield a positive result, with January yield a positive gain on 6 out of 10 years, while February net a positive yield on 7 out of 10 years, and every first quarter gain a positive yield on 7 out of 10 years.

As such, the securities company recommended “Buy” on high dividend stocks two weeks before the Excluding Dividend (XD) date, and offload afterward. The recommended stocks were picked from stocks with one time dividend pay (in 2024), and stocks that paid dividend twice (1/2H24) based on 2024 performance reports. The chosen stocks were picked for a growth potential and stable liquidity, and under investment theme for 2025.

Starting from highest to lowest, there are nine stocks that are expected to pay an outstanding dividend, categorized by its market value.

  5. Advanced Info Service PCL (SET: ADVANC) with a target price of THB 305 and an expected 3.7% yield.
