JR Records over THB8 Billion in Backlog after Signing Solar Project with STECON

Suradech U-Thairat, deputy CEO of J.R.W. Utility Public Company Limited (SET: JR), has revealed that the company has been notified of the signing of a new Letter of Intent by STECON Group Public Company Limited (SET: STECON) for the Supply and Installation of Electrical Package Project SB–PYO1 Solar Power Plant. The total value of the project is 98,200,000 Baht (excluding VAT) and the completion period is within 1-3 Months after confirmation of the contract.

The signing of a new contract by STECON has strengthened the business partner’s trust in JR as the contractor with proficiency in electricity and ICT business, said Suradech.

After the signing, the company now has a THB 8,062.2 million worth of backlog, which would be recognized within the next 1-3 years. JR also continues its Quick Win strategy along with an emphasis on its Oil & Gas business that are the company’s strength, and has fewer competitors, while also having high margins and stable income as it is a green energy project.

JR’s main services are as follows:

  1. Turnkey project on electrical power system, all-in-one design, procure, construct, and installation of electricity system, high voltage transmission line system, high voltage substation, underground re-wiring, telecom & ICT system, and designing, procurement, equipment installation, integration, and consultation of telecom and ICT systems.
  2. Maintenance services, where the company would provide maintenance and repair services on electrical equipment and telecom & ICT systems.
  3. Supplying electricity and telecom & ICT equipment.
