JKN Global Group Public Company Limited (SET: JKN), has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that JKN Global Content Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary registered in Singapore and wholly owned by the company, which holds the right and obligation to conduct the Miss Universe Thailand (MUT) pageant, has agreed to enter into a licensing agreement for the rights to conduct the Miss Universe Thailand (MUT) pageant, for a period from 2025 to 2029, totaling 5 years, with Miss Grand International Public Company Limited (mai: MGI), and has defined the scope of rights granted under such an agreement.
In this regard, the subsidiary shall receive consideration for licensing of these rights throughout the licensing period, amounting to 180 million Baht. This consideration aligns with the mutual negotiations between the contracting parties under the terms and benefits of the agreement.
The share price of MGI extended gains by 19.46% after the opening bell on Tuesday. This follows a 30% surge yesterday after a joint announcement by JKN and MGI.
