DEMCO Public Company Limited (SET: DEMCO) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that the company has been awarded new contracts by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to completion of the work, supply, testing, construction and installation of 230/115 kV Ban Bueng 2 Substation (GIS), Improvement of 115 kV Ban Bueng Substation, and Supply of Control and Protection Equipment for 230 kV Bo Win Substation Transmission System Expansion Project No.12.
The contracts consist of the work, supply, testing, construction and installation of 230/115 kV Ban Bueng 2 Substation (GIS), improving 115 kV Ban Bueng Substation, and supplying control and protection equipment for 230 kV Bo Win Substation.
The projects would be done in the name of DEMCO & LOXLEY & LPS Consortium, with a total contract value of THB 1,620,849,088.23 (VAT Included).
Meanwhile, DEMCO would be responsible for the installation of 230 kV Ban Bueng 2 Substation (GIS), and the improvement of 115 kV Ban Bueng Substation. The project is set to finish within 24 months after the issue of Letter of Authorization on 17 February 2024, and would have a total contract value of THB 981,033,612.840 (VAT Included).
