At the beginning of the afternoon trading session on Thursday, the share price of Kasikornbank Public Company Limited (SET: KBANK) increased as much as 2.66% or THB 4.00 to THB 154.00, with a trading value of approximately THB 1.6 billion.
The rise in KBANK’s share price came after the company announced the dividend payout for the second half of 2024 at THB 8.00 per share, representing a payout ratio of 46%, which was higher than LESG consensus of THB 7.50 per share.
As the company already paid the dividend payout for the first half of the year at THB 1.50 per share, the total dividend payment for 2024 will be THB 9.50 per share.
Additionally, the ex-dividend date (XD) will be on April 17, 2025.
