Thai SEC Urges STARK Corporation Bondholders to File Debt Claims

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Thailand has informed the bondholders of Stark Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: STARK) that they are eligible to file debt claims in the bankruptcy case at the Central Bankruptcy Court. The case involves United Overseas Bank (UOB) as the creditor and Mr. Vonnarat Tangkaravakoon as the debtor. Bondholders can submit their claims electronically, in person, or through a power of attorney using forms provided by the Legal Execution Department at any of its nationwide offices.

Following the Central Bankruptcy Court’s order to protect Mr. Vonnarat’s assets on December 18, 2024, creditors, including STARK bondholders, are required to submit their debt claims to the official receiver of the Legal Execution Department within a two-month deadline, ending on April 11, 2025. It is crucial for STARK bondholders to file their claims to preserve their rights.

There are two ways to submit the claims:

  1. Electronically via the Legal Execution Department’s website: https://reqonline.led.go.th/online/pages/login.jsp
  2. By submitting documents directly to the official receiver at the Litigation Department of the Legal Execution Department. Forms can be downloaded from the Legal Execution Department’s website: https://www.led.go.th/th/views/2567/02/79-7.pdf

The process for filing debt claims in the bankruptcy case is detailed, and whether STARK bondholders will receive any payment depends on the evidence they provide to substantiate their claims and the discretion of the official receiver or the Central Bankruptcy Court in their upcoming decisions.
