On Friday, Pi Securities expect the Thai market to be pressured by oversea factors, as the majority of Asia market has slumped due to concerns over the escalating trade war and the uncertainty of Trump’s tariffs policy. Additionally, many foreign markets have greatly surged in the past few days, resulting in a rebase.
While the Thai market may have low valuation, the global trading sentiment is still being weighed down, combined with domestic situations where profit of listed companies missed forecast and slowing growth, while the baht started to weaken this morning. The analyst warned of losing foreign investment, and urged caution.
