KH Academy recently held the closing ceremony for its third “Prep for Fund Manager” program, designed to prepare students for a career as fund managers. Certificates and a 50,000 baht scholarship were awarded to the winning team of the investment portfolio analysis workshop. The management expressed delight at the program’s success and overwhelming positive response, announcing plans to launch the fourth class in August.
On April 10, 2025, Mr. Burapha Sanguanwong, Founder and Executive Director of KH Academy, was honored for a speech at the closing ceremony and presented certificates to 42 students from 10 universities, including Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Kasetsart University, Srinakharinwirot University, Silpakorn University, Prince of Songkla University, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Stamford International University, and Bangkok University.
A highlight of the event was the announcement of the winning team for the investment portfolio analysis competition. Team E, featuring Napat Tarnsaithong from the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Phanthira Thongnak from the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, Pattarawut Bunprakom from the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, and Worarat Wattanawitoongul from the Faculty of Economics, Srinakharinwirot University, took the top spot, receiving their award from Mr. Nutthapol Dussadeenoad, CEO of Food Moments Public Company Limited (FM).
Another special activity, the “Fund Manager Influencer Competition (FM Influencer),” awarded a 5,000 baht prize to the winning team, presented by Mr. Thongwat Jittrapart, KH Academy Consultant. This activity aimed to foster friendships and networking among students from various faculties and institutions, laying a foundation for future connections crucial for careers in finance and investment.
The third generation of the “Prep for Fund Manager” course was supported by the Thailand Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF) and ran from March 8 to April 10, 2025, comprising 11 classes over five weeks. Notable collaborators included CGS International Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (CGSI), TISCO Securities Co., Ltd. (TISCO), Kasikorn Asset Management Co., Ltd. (KAsset), Metha Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Metha), and Mahidol University International College (MUIC), all of which contributed expert speakers to provide students with industry knowledge and real-world insights.
KH Academy was established to continue the mission of “Kaohoon Turakij” in nurturing young university students towards careers in finance and investment without any charges.
