The first data available from Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine suggest a third booster dose is effective against Omicron.
Moderna on early Monday said lab study shows blood for 20 people who received the 50-microgram boost had 37 times the number of neutralizing antibodies as compared to blood from the same number of people two only received two shots.
The study showed a group that received the shot of the higher 100-microgram dost saw an 83 fold jump in neutralizing antibody.
