Samart Telcoms Public Company Limited (SET: SAMTEL) announced that Samart Comtech Co., Ltd., a subsidiary with 99.99 percent of total shares held by the company, had two projects awarded as follows:
1. “SI Consortium” which comprises the subsidiary and I Two Enterprise Co., Ltd. with the proportion of 51:49, has received the letter of notification on December 10, 2021 from the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Interior to agree for and to sign the contract for Information Service System project of the Ministry of Interior via Virtual Networks with total value of 460.10 million Baht (VAT included) and the project portion for the Subsidiary values 234.65 million Baht (VAT included) with the complete implementation date within 1,080 days from the next day of contract signing date. The amount of payment is divided into 7 payments based on work progress. The Subsidiary has been requested to submit related documents in order for contract preparation and contract signing.
2. The subsidiary was announced as the tender winner by Social Security Office on December 9, 2021 with the subject of the announcement of the tender winner for the Development of Digital Platform Centralizing Service Centers according to the main mission of the Compensation Fund that the subsidiary has been selected as the tender winner with the lowest price proposed of 129.90 million baht (VAT included). The subsidiary will have a contract signed with the Social Security Office after receiving an invitation letter to sign the contract form the Social Security Office.
