Oil prices ticked up on Tuesday as traders eyes supply to remain tight.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate inched up by 1.05% to $84.70 per barrel while Brent inched up by 0.65% to $87.02 per barrel.
U.S. trades were subdued due to the U.S. holiday honoring slain civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
“The bullish sentiment is continuing as (producer group) OPEC+ is not providing enough supply to meet strong global demand,” said Fujitomi Securities analyst Toshitaka Tazawa to Reuters.
