Asian shares started cautious on Wednesday after another volatile session on Wallstreet last night amid Federal Reserve’s meeting late in the day and signal about faster monetary tightening.
The SET, KOSPI, CSI300 and HSI is up by 0.51%, 0.03%, 0.52% and 0.48% respectively.
MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was up 0.26%
Concerns that the Fed’s expected interest rate hikes could hammer Asia’s equities markets have dragged on the regional benchmark, though moves elsewhere have been even more dramatic.
