The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SET: SCC) has announced that SCG Cleanergy Company Limited (SCG Cleanergy), a wholly owned subsidiary of SCC, has established Cleanergy BGP Company Limited (Cleanergy BGP) in Thailand as a joint-venture company which SCG Cleanergy holding 51% equity stake, while the other 49% is held by B.Grimm Power Service Company Limited (BGPS).
Cleanergy BGP has registered capital of 5 million baht and will engage in the production and sale of solar energy from rooftop to industrial clients in Amata City Chonburi and Amata City Rayong industrial estates.
SCG Cleanergy has planned to invest in renewable, clean and alternative energy business as an electricity producer and supplier with innovative, efficient and modern technology. The company aims to be the total solutions provider supporting sustainable business practices and is committed to fight global warming and become a Net Zero Carbon Emission organization. The establishment of Cleanergy BGP is in-line with SCG Cleanergy’s business mission and strategy.
