BCPG Public Company Limited (SET: BCPG) announced that its board of director meeting held on 26 January, 2022, has passed a resolution approving the budget of NTD 5,080 million (THB6,096 million equivalent as of the approval date) for the development of solar power plant projects in Taiwan with installed capacity of 357 MW, resulting in total development pipeline in Taiwan of 469 MW. The construction commencement of the projects is expected to start from 2022 to 2024 and the commercial operation date is expected from 2022 to 2025.
BCPG believes that the solar power plant projects in Taiwan have the great development prospect having long term Feed-in-Tariffs power purchase agreements with Taiwan Power Company, the state-owned enterprise managing electricity production and distribution in Taiwan. The projects would have a strong contribution to the company’s core business by enhancing competitiveness and sustaining growth prospects of the company.
