PTT Public Company Limited (SET: PTT) announced on Friday that it has issued unsubordinated and unsecured debentures No. 1/2022 for the total amount of THB20,000 million to the institutional investors and/or high net worth investors (excluding individuals). The debentures are issued under the THB130,000 million Medium-Term Note Program (MTN Program) which was approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand.
The 2018 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders approved the issuing of debentures as part of PTT’s five-year fundraising plan (2018–2022), which includes the issuance of debentures in the amount of THB150,000 million to be used for capital expenditure and/or working capital and/or refinancing.
The debentures have been rated AAA (tha) by Fitch Rating(Thailand) Limited. Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Kasikornbank Public Company Limited, Krungthai Bank Public Company Limited and Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited were appointed as the arrangers and Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited was appointed as a bond representative and a registrar of debentures.
