MSCI Global Standard Index, the most widely used international equity indices for institutional investors, is set to release its upcoming regular index reviews on May 12, 2022. The new addition to the index will take effect as of the close of May 31.
Capital Nomura Securities (CNS) anticipates that JMT Network Services Plc. (SET: JMT) and COM7 Plc. (SET: COM7) will be included to the MSCI Global Standard Index, with each firm receiving approximately US$76-80 million in fund inflow.
Meanwhile, B.Grimm Power Plc. (SET: BGRIM) and Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Plc. (SET: STGT) are at risk to be delisted from the index. If the outcome is as expected, both firms will lose approximately US$45 million each.
Nomura, therefore, proposes a “BUY” rating on JMT with a target price of THB100.00, while COM7 is recommended as a “Speculative-Buy.”
