Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: BCP) would like to inform that OKEA ASA (“OKEA” – the subsidiary that the Company holds approximately 46%) has entered into an agreement to acquire 35.2% working interest in Brage, 6.4% in Ivar Aasen, and 6% in Nova. This will add 2022 estimated incremental production of 5,000 – 6,000 boepd
Brage is an offshore oil field in the North Sea located 120 km northwest of the city of Bergen on the western coast of Norway and 13 km east of Oseberg Field Center.
The Ivar Aasen field is located at the Utsira Height in the northern part of the North Sea, around 175 km west of Karmøy, Norway.
The Nova (formerly Skarfjell) field is located in the north-eastern part of the Norwegian North Sea.
