In 2Q22, public listed companies on the Thai stock market reported a combined profit of THB346 billion, an all-time high, up 22.4% quarter-over-quarter and 26.6% year-over-year.
On August 1-11 (MTD), foreigners were net buyers at THB18.5 billion and at THB142 billion in 2022 (YTD).
Stocks that saw significant rise with foreign buying include AOT, SCGP, BH, CRC, DIF, GULF, MINT, BJC, HMPRO, KBANK, BEM, M, DELTA, KTB, and EGCO.
Asia Plus Securities said that Thai stocks that rallied with foreign buying were notably those that benefit from domestic economic recovery. Therefore, ASPS favors stocks with profit growth potential for the rest of 2022: BEM, BH, CENTEL, CRC, KBANK, and M.
