Toyota Motor announced on Thursday (Sept 29) that its global vehicle production increased in August, primarily in Asia, due to recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Japanese automaker has set a production target under scrutiny of 9.7 million units for the year. In August, the world’s largest automaker produced 766,683 vehicles, an increase by 44.3% from the same period of last year, while also exceeding the target of around 700,000 and an output of 531,448 vehicles; year on year.
