SCB X Public Company Limited (SET: SCB) has announced that it acquired nine subsidiaries of the Siam Commercial Bank and SCB10X by utilizing the dividend payment from the Siam Commercial Bank.
SCB X Public Company Limited (SET: SCB) published a report on the Stock Exchange of Thailand on 5 September 2022 that Siam Commercial Bank PCL (the Bank) will be paying dividends to its shareholders out of retained earnings totaling 61 billion baht. SCBX noted that it has received dividend payments in the amount proportional to its 99.06% shareholding and will use these funds to acquire shares of subsidiaries of the Bank and SCB 10X Co., Ltd., and to make investment in SCBX Financial Group’s subsidiaries as part of the business restructuring plan.
