Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (SET: GPSC) announced on Tuesday, that the board of directors meeting No. 11/2022 on August 23, 2022 and meeting No. 13/2022 on October 10, 2022 approved the establishment of five subsidiaries, with a total registered capital of THB 1.19 billion. The company holds 50% and P.C.S. Estate Company Limited holds 50%.
The objective establishment of five subsidiaries are submit the application for electricity generation according to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) announced the notification for the purchase of electricity generated from renewable energy sources under the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) scheme 2022 –2030 for power plants with no fuel costs B.E. 2565 (2022) on September 30, 2022, and to support the company investment plan for renewable energy.
According to the submission of the application for electricity generation by the company subsidiaries, five new subsidiaries abovementioned and the company subsidiaries as Eurus Plus Company Limited and Boree Plus Company Limited, have passed the pre-qualified applicants according to the ERC announcement on December 9, 2022.
