Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (SET: GULF), through its subsidiary Gulf Ventures Company Limited, has submitted the tender offer form for the securities of THCOM to the Securities and Exchange Commission, THCOM and the shareholders of THCOM to acquire the remaining of 58.87% shareholding at the tender price of THB9.92 per share.
The tender offer period will run from 6 January to 9 February 2023 with Bualuang Securities Public Company Limited as the tender offer preparer.
GULF noted that it has no intention to delist the Business from being a listed company in the Thai stock market during the period of 12 months after the end of the offer period.
Earlier, GULF acquired 41.13% of shareholding in THCOM from Intouch Holdings Public Company Limited (SET: INTUCH) at the price of THB9.92 per share, totaling THB 4,472.64 million.
At the closing of the morning session on 5 January 2023, the share price of THCOM rose THB0.80 or 5.30% to THB15.90 per share.
