Thachang Green Energy Public Company Limited (SET: TGE) announced on Monday that The National Energy Policy Council has finally resolved to approve the extension of short-term power purchase to support additional energy emergencies from 2022 for another 2 years, ending 31 December 2024.
It received a notice from Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) on January 11, 2023, regarding the amendment of the power purchase agreement for the short-term power purchase project to accommodate the emergency situation for power producers who have power purchase agreement with the Electricity Authority 2022.
Therefore, Thachang Bio Power Co., Ltd. (TBP), a subsidiary of the company, received a notification to submit documents for the amendment of power purchase agreement with the PEA within 15 days after the company received the letter.
It has already prepared the documents to create an amendment to the power purchase agreement with the PEA and is ready to complete the agreement within the specified period.
Thachang Green Energy Public Company Limited has entered into a short-term purchase power agreement on year by year but not exceeding 2 years (Signed on 5 May 2022) amount 6.0 MW. Under the power purchasing at the fixed electricity selling rate of 2.2 Bath per unit.
