Asiasoft Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: AS), a leading online gaming and digital entertainment company, is collaborating with Bitkub Capital Group Holding’s subsidiary to create a Hybrid Web 3.0 Game Platform that, unlike other Web 3.0 gaming platforms, will truly entertain players while also enabling them to make money.
Mr. Pramoth Sudjitporn, Chairman of Asiasoft Corporation, revealed in a press conference on March 7 that from 2023 onwards the company is gearing towards becoming a holistic digital technology company with one of their main strategies being the development of a blockchain gaming platform called Astronize together with KUBPLAY Entertainment Company Limited.
The first two games anticipated to be released in the Southeast Asia Region are titled TS Multiverse, an adapted version from the TS Mobile that was a tremendous hit for ASIASOFT back in 2019, and are classified as Free-to-Play & Earn. Meanwhile, the Clash of Thrones is categorized as an NFT Idle RPG type.
However, the launch of both games is subjected to the results from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in approving the company’s submission of an ICO (initial coin offering) for use under the Astronize ecosystem. It is expected that the ICO can be offered in the 3rd-4th quarter of this year and the two games will be launched accordingly.
The company’s goal is to have at least 500,000 users on the Astronize platform within a year of launching these two games, while planning to launch new games every quarter moving forward.
The revenue target is set at 1 billion baht within three years of the service’s launch, representing a 67% annual growth rate.
To reflect the company’s evolution, the name ASPHERE Innovations Public Company Limited is presently being proposed to shareholders. In terms of meaning, AS would carry on Asiasoft’s legacy, whereas Sphere symbolizes the world’s never-ending evolution.
