Sky ICT Public Company Limited (SET: SKY) reported an outstanding growth in the second quarter, turning around from a net loss last year to see a profit of nearly 120 million baht due to a recovery in Thai tourism contributed to its revenue related to airport operations.
Mr. Sithidej Mayalarp, Chief Executive Officer, expected SKY’s performance in the second half of this year to be even better due to it being a peak season for tourism in Thailand, which would benefit businesses in aviation tech and airport services, operated by the company.
SKY has 22,700 million baht worth of backlog at the end of the second quarter, while expecting to recognize 2,000 million baht this year.
The CEO added that SKY continues to explore opportunities for business expansion in Aviation Tech and Tech Ecosystem. The company also entered into several investments recently that should help support its revenue in the second half of this year.
