BBL Asset Management Co., Ltd., as the Management Company of Jasmine Broadband Internet Infrastructure Fund (SET: JASIF or the Fund), has notified the market of the amendment of the Fund Scheme regarding on Summary of the Amendments to the Agreements, according to the resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Unitholders on 23 August 2023.
BBL Asset Management noted that there are other relevant subjects amended such as definition, procedures for disclosure of information of the Fund, duties and responsibilities of the Management Company and Trustee, Investment Advisory Committee and expenses relating of the Fund etc. but there is no substantial amendment other than adjustments for accuracy, up-to-date and consistency with the regulations of the Office of the SEC.
The amendment includes an extension to the term of the Main Lease Agreement from January 29, 203 until December 31, 2038 and fixes the rental fee to be adjustable throughout the contract.
The amendment will also terminate the Rental Assurance Agreement, resulting in the Fund no longer receiving any rental payments under the Rental Assurance Agreement.
