The share price of SKY ICT Public Company Limited (SET: SKY) rose 5% in the morning session as the company is expecting to increasingly book more profit as tourist arrivals in the third quarter continue to surge.
SKY closed the morning session on September 7 at THB35.75 per share, increased THB1.75 or 5.15% with a trading value of 271 million baht.
Mr. Sithidej Mayalarp, Chief Executive Officer of SKY, stated that the increase could be due to the number of tourist arrivals in Thailand that increased in the third quarter, following the recovery in the tourism industry that is stepping closer to its peak season in Thailand. This led to higher income on airport-related businesses such as the common use passenger processing system and its super application known as APPS that verify passengers. The CEO expected SKY to report better performance in the second half of this year.
