Sky ICT Public Company Limited (SET: SKY) has announced that it has completed the transaction to acquire 100% shareholding in Siam Administrative Management and Security Guards Company Limited (SAMCO) in the amount of 500,000,000 baht.
The announcement came after the Board of Directors on July 10, 2023, approved Metthier Company Limited (Metthier), a subsidiary of SKY, to invest in SAMCO by acquisition of 12,000,000 shares at a par value of 10.00 baht per share, representing 100% of all issued and sold ordinary shares of SAMCO from the three existing shareholders of SAMCO, including to enter into the share purchase agreement, other arrangements, contracts, and documents relating to the purchase and acquiring of shares from the sellers of SAMCO shares.
SAMCO provides services covering security, administrative work, and maintaining the orderliness of buildings, which has more than 6,000 personnels. The company takes care of more than 400 various private clients such as financial institutions, large shopping centers, office buildings, factories and energy service providers.
Earlier, Mr. Khayon Tantichatwat, Chief Executive Officer of Metthier said that the establishment of this new subsidiary came after the Sky Group acquired the security and administrative management company, Siam Co., Ltd. (Rak Siam) or SAMCO in July.
“Metthier is introducing technologies such as AI CCTV, Smart Incident Management, Digital Twin, 3D Visualization, Indoor Mapping, AIoT and Robotics to increase the efficiency of personnel and systems in buildings. As a result, we’re ready to support a variety of real estate projects. And we will give further detail within October,” Mr. Khayon said.
