B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (SET: BGRIM) has announced that B.Grimm Power (Angthong) 2 Limited (BGPAT2), a subsidiary of BGRIM with holding of a 70.0% of total shares, has commenced its commercial operation of new combined-cycle cogeneration power plant with an installed capacity of 140 megawatts, and started supplying electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) since 1 October 2023.
BGPAT2 project is the power plant operated with advanced technology and high efficiency, located in S Industrial Estate Angthong. It has entered into 25-year power purchase agreement with EGAT with contracted capacity of 90 megawatts, while the remaining capacity is used for supplying electricity and steam to industrial users under the long-term agreements.
In December 2023, BGRIM is planning the commercial operation of an additional combined-cycle cogeneration power named B.Grimm Power (Angthong) 3 Limited (BGPAT3), a subsidiary with holding of 70.0% of total shares. The plant will have an installed capacity of 140 megawatts and a contracted capacity of 90 megawatts with EGAT.
Currently, BGRIM commercially operated with a total capacity of 3,830 megawatts from total secured Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) of 4,268 megawatts.
