Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (SET: CPF) announced on October 9, 2023, that the request for listing of its associate company Chia Tai Investment Co., Ltd. (CTI) in the Shanghai Stock Exchange was cancelled by CTI.
CPF noted that it had been notified by CTI that it requested to withdraw such a listing application on September 11, 2023 due to the underperform operation caused by lower than anticipated swine price in China. SSE announced the aforementioned withdrawal on its website on October 8, 2023.
