PTT Public Company Limited (SET: PTT) has announced that Dr. Prasert Sinsukprasert, Chairman of the Board of Directors, has informed his intention to the Board of Directors’ Meeting No. 12/2023 (the Board), held on 21 December 2023 to resign from the Chairmanship.
The company stated that the reason for resignation was due to his other business engagement, while Dr. Prasert Sinsukprasert is still PTT’s director. In this regard, Dr. Prasert Sinsukprasert will hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors until 22 December 2023.
For PTT’s business continuity, the Board has resolved to appoint Mr. Chatchai Phromlert, an independent director, as Chairman of the Board of Directors effective from 23 December 2023 onwards. In compliance with corporate governance principles, Mr. Chatchai Phromlert has informed the Board of his resignation from Chairman of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee from 23 December 2023 onward.
Dr. Prasert Sinsukprasert was recently appointed to the position in late November 2023.
