Banpu Public Company Limited (SET: BANPU) and Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (SET: BJC) could be facing a deletion from the MSCI Index in this upcoming review in February.
Krungsri Capital Securities expected BANPU and BJC to be the two stocks with high probability to be removed from MSCI Global Standard Indexes in the next MSCI Rebalance on 12 February 2024, while OSP is the stock with moderate risk to be removed.
The MSCI Rebalance will be announced on 12 February 2024 (night time in Thailand) and will take effect on 1 March 2024, based on the closing price on 29 February 2024.
