Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited (SET: MAJOR) has announced the establishment of a new joint venture, named Karman Line Studio Company Limited (KML), a joint venture company, together with Thai Broadcasting Company Limited (THB), a subsidiary of Workpoint Entertainment Public Company Limited (SET: WORK) has been completed.
MAJOR will hold 50% of the total registered capital and THB holds 50% of the total registered capital. MAJOR’s capital investment will not exceed 55 million Baht, out of which the amount of 25 million Baht has been paid.
The objectives of the joint venture are to engage in a production business and invest in movies.
