On Wednesday at 11:11 AM (Bangkok time), the share price of Muangthai Capital Public Company Limited (SET: MTC) surged by 7.47% or THB 3.25 to THB 46.75 per share, with a trading value of THB 659.08 million.
MTC reported a net profit of Baht 4,906 million in 2023, decreased 3.66% from 2022. The decrease was mainly due to higher expenses, financial costs and more expected credit loss during the period. Meanwhile, total revenue increased 22% to Baht 24.5 million in 2023.
As at 31 December 2023, the number of branches was 7,537, increasing by 869 branches, from the end of the year 2022.
In addition, the company announced a dividend payment of THB 0.21 per share to be paid on 16 May 2024. The ex-dividend date is 29 April 2024.
