The GPD project is a combined-cycle gas turbine power plant that uses natural gas as a source of fuel, with a total installed capacity of 2,650 megawatts (comprised of 4 power-producing units with a capacity of 662.5 megawatts per unit), located in the Rojana Pluak Daeng Industrial Estate, Pluakdaeng district, Rayong province, and has a 25-year power purchase agreement with EGAT. GPD’s first and second units commenced commercial operation on March 31, 2023, and October 31, 2023, respectively, while unit 4 is scheduled to commence commercial operation in October 2024.
