On 29 May 2024, Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited participated in the opening ceremony of the Asia Pacific Rail 2024 event and exhibited its rail services, including the BTS Green Line (68.25 kilometers long), the BTS Gold Line (1.8 kilometers long), the MRT Yellow Line and Pink Line (30.4 and 37.3 kilometers long), Intercity Motorway, as well as Utapao Airport and Eastern Aviation City.
In addition, leaders among rail transport businesses jointly discussed the topic regarding the direction of rail transport in the future of the Asia region, while there were also exhibitions of technologies and inventions by the government and private sectors, both domestic and international.
