Nvidia has achieved a market capitalization of $3.01 trillion, enabling it to exceed Apple’s value and secure the position as the second-largest U.S. company after Microsoft.
Nvidia’s shares surged by 5.2% on Wednesday, marking the company’s inaugural entry into the prestigious $3 trillion club. The share price has risen almost 155% this year.
In contrast, Apple experienced a more modest increase of 0.8% in its shares, resulting in a market value of $3.00 trillion by the end of trading, attaining this level for the first time since January. Apple’s stock performance exhibited significant strength, posting gains for the eighth consecutive session and establishing its lengthiest winning streak since March 2022.
Microsoft maintains its status as the largest U.S. company with a market cap of $3.15 trillion.
