In 2Q24, BCPG successfully sold 9 solar power projects in Japan with a total installed capacity of 116.8 megawatts (total contracted capacity of 89.7 megawatts), including subsidiaries in Japan that provide asset management services and operation and maintenance services by selling common shares in subsidiaries and investments for a total purchase value of THB 10,377 million, resulting in BCPG recognized net gain from sale of investments after deducting related expenses of THB 2,158.8 million.

With other expenses and write-off and impairment of assets, BCPG recorded a total one-time item of THB 1,144 million in 2Q24, a huge gain when compared to THB 18.5 million in 2Q23.

In 2Q24, total revenue was at THB 1,083.6 million, reduced by 0.8% YoY. solar projects in Thailand, wind farms in Thailand, and solar farms in Japan saw lower revenue in the quarter. However, the higher contribution from tank terminal revenue and hydro power plants alleviated some impact.
